March in the Windy City... Perfect Conditions for the BrightKey Kite!
Our recent visit to Chicago found the weather to be unseasonably frosty, but
our clients were predictably warm and welcoming. We checked in with the
American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) and APICS: The Association for Operations Management. It was great to catch up in person and brainstorm
new ideas for growth and innovations in the work we do together.
Strategy Is Busting Out All Over!
Our new Strategic Telemarketing team has been busy putting a marketing spin
on conference registration, lapsed member renewals, sales pre-qualification, and database cleansing. The result? Clients get a marketing program that literally
pays for itself in increased revenue and important research findings. One satisfied client said, "the marketing information is as important as the renewals; now I
have the evidence to support the changes I want to make."
And more Strategic Marketing news! We branded and helped develop a yearlong campaign to mark the 25th Anniversary of PPD, one of the world's largest global clinical research organizations. And we also named and branded the company's
$100 million spinoff. The new pharmaceuticals company - Furiex - will pioneer a

You'll find us exhibiting at two ASAE conferences this spring - both at L'Enfant
Plaza Hotel in Washington DC: the Finance & Business Operations Symposium
(May 6-7) and the Marketing & Membership Conference (June 13-15). We'll be
talking to clients and future clients about the growing range of services under
the BrightKey umbrella... (stop by and you might just win a fun sky-lined umbrella
perfect for fending off spring showers!)
Well-Being Is in the Air with BrightKey's B-Healthy Campaign!
BrightKey has launched a yearlong employee campaign for health, because we
care about each other and the level of service we provide our clients! We know
that good health brings happiness...and we're happy to report that our first
quarter's focus on Weight & Fitness means that you'll be seeing a lot less of us!
When our annual employee Easter Egg Hunt came around, we switched the
snacks from Peeps and chocolate eggs, to veggies and yogurt. And the search through our warehouse for money-filled eggs meant some exercise for the
BrightKey hunters.
A Warm Welcome to New Clients!
Our new passion for health brings with it one of our newest clients: the League
of American Bicyclists. We're revamping the League's renewal and welcome campaigns, from strategy and creative through printing and mail processing.
In addition, our strategic telemarketing team has been building renewal and conference registration investigative research as part of the re-positioning of NeoNova, a company that manages IP services for rural telcos.
It Adds Up to Success!
School's out (just about), and plans for vacations and celebrations abound.
Here's one event I'm particularly excited about: celebrating our 15-year
partnership with Mathematical Association of America! Hard to believe, but
we're "15 Years and Counting!"
As I look out my office window and watch the cardinals busy at the BrightKey birdfeeder, I'm energized! Remember, we're ready to spring into action at a
